In case you were wondering, I'm sick of winter already

Ok, while I’m still terribly disappointed that someone screwed up and advertised the extraordinary double bill of The Beggars and Troy Gregory and The Stepsisters on January 14 when the show is actually on the 21st, I’ll survive thanks to everyone who has promised to come out on the 14th for my birthday… Though, seeing The Beggars and Troy Gregory would have been an awesome birthday gift. I’m also pretty much sure that we won’t be taking Ross up on his suggestion of celebrating at Dom Polski with a muskrat dinner, but I appreciate the suggestion from my favorite brother. Maybe next year…

I know that Canadians are very proud of their country and I know that this is for an excellent cause, but I’m just not sure how Sloan (as a band that definitely does not suck) fits into the following:
CBC Tap Sloan, Rush And Celine Dion For Tsunami Special

Ooh, ooh, ooh, and in some very exciting news (to me, at least), New Order will release a new album this year… The U.S. release date is TBD, but the album, entitled Waiting for the Sirens’ Call, is “tipped to be a return to the bands dance pop roots.” I can’t wait… Plus, there is and Ian Curtis biopic in the works. I wonder who they’ll get to play him?

Hugs and Kisses…
