Am I going to have to change his title?

Ben Gibbard may no longer be the King of Big, Beefy Indie Rockers with Girly Voices!!!
Death Cab has signed to Atlantic. I guess he’ll just be my King Big, Beefy Rocker with a Girly Voice. Sigh… Here’s what Ben has to say about it.

In less earth-shattering news, the White Stripes are aiming to finish their new album in about two months, with a release sometime next year.

That's all. I'm not feeling chatty today. Mondays stink.

Hugs and Kisses…

1st The Postal Service bows under pressure to the Big Bad USPS and agrees to be their spokesperson and now your indie boy Ben has signed to Atlantic. I see this as the sellout of the century!!! Death Cab will now be regulars on the OC and will be hob knobbing with the likes of Clay Aiken, Usher and Jessica Simpson. What happened, I thought Death Cab was the indie rock revolution, come to save us from the Clear Channels of the world? I guess Ben just got a little to greedy and needs to pay for that coke habit he picked up on the last tour.

Actually I don't really care I just want to mess with Kathy and get her all upset. I think that its cool that Death Cab signed, hopefully they got a good deal and can maintain some sense of style.
