Fle-fle-fle-fle-flex!

I was trying to catch the weather when I turned on my TV this morning, but up came the new Duran Duran video, (Reach Up For The) Sunrise. Holy crap... John Taylor is still hot! Simon LeBon ain't so bad, either. Nick Rhodes, well he still wears an awful lot of makeup for a supposedly straight man. I think Andy Taylor and Roger Taylor were in the video, too, but really you only need to watch John and Simon (you know that you agree and you know that you liked Duran Duran when you were in 6th grade*). The new Duran Duran album, Astronaut, came out this week. It is the first album in twenty years with all five original members. I can't speak for the rest of the songs on the album, but I liked what I heard in (Reach Up For The) Sunrise.
* if, like me, you were in the 6th grade a long, long time ago.

Shall We Dance? ...Not with Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere. I am soooo boycotting this movie. The original, Japanese version was one of the funniest, sweetest movies that I have ever seen. I don't think that I have ever laughed so hard during a movie. Seriously, you should go rent it right now. The JLo version - I don't even want to talk about how horrible this sounds. I mean it - go rent the Japanese version - my dad even loved it and he usually only watches movies that are based on Tom Clancy novels.
